Terms of Employment:
The Duration of the assignment is 1 (one) year from the commencement of work. Contract may be extended after performance analysis at the end of the term.

Scope of Work
The Maldives National Single Window (MNSW), branded as Tradian, is a flagship digital transformation initiative led by the Government of Maldives. It is funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and implemented through the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, with Tradenet Maldives Corporation Limited as the operating entity.
Tradian was launched to integrate trade-related services provided by multiple Cross-Border Regulatory Authorities (CBRAs) into a single digital platform. The initiative aligns with the best global practices, including the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement and UN/CEFACT recommendations, aimed at streamlining trade processes, improving transparency, and reducing costs for the trading community.
Key Responsibilities
Assess current import/export procedures and their statutory requirements.
Collaborate with private stakeholders and border agencies to extract insights and requirements.
Pinpoint and rectify inefficiencies in current operations.
Design efficient business processes in line with international standards.
Facilitate data sharing across stakeholder IT frameworks for automated documentation.
Identify ICT opportunities to further automate and enhance the trade process.
Coordinate with the project team for process transition and stakeholder adoption.
Regularly evaluate and refine the implemented processes.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs requirements.
Proven analytical skills with the ability to streamline and optimize processes.
Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts clearly.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and consistently meet deadlines.

Fluent in Dhivehi and English, both in writing and speaking.
