As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating a suite of applications that streamline processes, enhance data management, and drive digital transformation for public services, delivering seamless and efficient experiences for both citizens and businesses.

Terms of Employment:

The duration of the assignment is 1 (one) year from the commencement of work. Contract can be extended after performance analysis at the end of the term.

Remuneration:

Based on qualifications and experience.

Qualification and Experience:

  • BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but optional. Equivalent professional experience is essential.

  • Proven expertise in integrating diverse software systems and applications, demonstrated through successful integration projects.

  • Mastery in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and contemporary JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).

  • In-depth knowledge of back-end technologies, especially Java with a particular emphasis on Spring Boot, supplemented by familiarity with databases (both SQL and NoSQL) is an added advantage.

  • Proficiency in various integration technologies and protocols, such as API, REST, SOAP, and message queuing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate software systems and applications within the NSW platform.

  • Documentation of integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines.

  • Test plans and reports validating the reliability and performance of integration solutions.

  • Regular updates on integration progress and task completion.

  • Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

  • Ensure that all development is aligned with the architectural guidelines, performance standards, and security protocols set by Tradenet.

  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs for application integration and data exchange across multiple platforms.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs.

  • Provide feedback and insights into technical feasibility during the planning stages of new initiatives.

  • Collaborate in agile teams, participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Write clear and concise documentation for codebases, APIs, and system functionalities.

  • Share knowledge with the team and stakeholders by conducting code reviews, technical training.

Professional Skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in agile development methodologies.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
