Terms of Employment:

The Duration of the assignment is 1 (one) year from the commencement of work. Contract may be extended after performance analysis at the end of the term.

Remuneration:

Based on qualifications and experience.

Scope of Work:

Join our dynamic team in developing the oneGov Platform, a unified platform designed to revolutionize government operations. As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in creating a suite of applications to digitize and streamline government processes and data management.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience.

  • BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but optional. Equivalent professional experience is essential.

  • Proven experience with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Familiarity with Cloud integration, especially AWS.

  • Ability to comprehend and optimize complex business processes.

  • Prior experience in developing applications for governmental entities is a plus.

  • Proficiency in agile development methodologies.

  • Technical expertise in Laravel, React.js, and MySQL is essential.

  • Mastery of code versioning tools, especially Git.

  • Experience in designing and working with RESTful APIs.

  • Strong time management and deadline adherence skills.

Responsibilities:

The Full-Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications within the oneGov platform.

  • Engage in code reviews, pinpointing and resolving application code-related issues.

  • Offer technical support and ensure the longevity and efficiency of applications.

  • Foster clear communication with fellow engineers and the product technical project manager.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engineers for comprehensive application development, testing, and other project-related tasks.

  • Champion and enforce software life-cycle best practices.

  • Ensure timely delivery of well-tested software applications.

  • Recommend and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

  • Provide technical leadership within the Software Development team, ensuring alignment with project scope and objectives.
