Newsroom
oneGov is excited to announce that a key service from the Business Center Corporation (BCC) is now available through oneGov. This marks an important milestone in our joint effort with the BCC to modernise and digitalize their services and offer them seamlessly through oneGov.
We are pleased to initiate this journey by introducing the first service from the BCC as part of our multi-phase rollout plan.
Effective 12 March 2024, the first BCC service available one oneGov is:
Home-Based Food Producer: This service can be used by individuals or registered businesses engaged in home-based food production to officially register as a home-based food producer. This service is also a prerequisite for applying for a home-based food producer logo.
In addition to these inaugural services, we are actively working with BCC to offer additional services that will further enhance your experience in accessing public services in the Maldives.
With the arrival of BCC services to oneGov, citizens will experience a streamlined application process with reduced paperwork, ensuring a more efficient and transparent digital service. For BCC Staff, the adoption of oneGov will simplify workflows, minimise human errors, and enhance efficiency and transparency in processing applications with the help of oneGov Workplace.
Overall, oneGov enhances accessibility and effectiveness for both citizens and BCC staff in delivering public services.
We sincerely thank the BCC for their collaboration and trust in oneGov. Your support has been instrumental in reaching this milestone, and we look forward to continuing our partnership to further improve and expand the range of BCC services on oneGov.
