Mohamed Jailam is the CEO and Managing Director of Javaabu, driving innovation in software and AI solutions in the Maldives. With a background in Computer Science from Maldives National University and a Master’s in Information Technology from Villa College, he specialises in full-stack development, with an interest in artificial intelligence. Under his leadership, Javaabu introduced Dhivehi GPT, while his own project, the Dhivehi Foyih App, provides a digital platform for Dhivehi books and audiobooks by local authors. Recognised nationally, he received the Youth Award for Entrepreneurship in the field of business and economy in 2022 and the National Award of Recognition in Information Communication Technology Sector – Computer Software and Software Application Development in 2025.
