Terms of Employment:

Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Dhivehi Language, Communications, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
Responsibilities:
The Content Writer - Dhivehi will be responsible for the following tasks:
Write, adapt, and localise high-quality Dhivehi content across a variety of mediums, including:
Blog posts, newsletters, presentations, and reports o Awareness campaigns and outreach materials
Social media content and campaigns
Websites, and digital platforms
UX copy and microcopy across user journeys
Press releases, speeches, statements, and formal communications
Craft high-quality, original content that spans bite-sized to longform pieces, effectively communicating complex concepts and topics across diverse mediums, including written, visual, and auditory content.
Collaborate with English content writers to ensure consistency of messaging, accuracy, and tone alignment across languages.
Translate complex technical or policy language into simple, citizen-friendly Dhivehi.
Ensure Dhivehi content is grammatically correct, clear, and aligned with our internal style and tone guidelines.
Script Dhivehi content for multimedia formats such as videos, animations, and podcasts where needed.
Maintain and evolve a central Dhivehi terminology guide to ensure consistency across all written and digital materials.
Provide responsive and reliable content support to all departments and teams within the company for their Dhivehi communication needs whether it’s a policy document, campaign message, or a public announcement.
Manage relationships with subject matter experts both internal and external to make sure content is always accurate.
Conduct research to ensure appropriate policy and legal checks are conducted on all content produced.
Skills & Requirements:
Excellent command of Dhivehi writing, grammar, spelling, style, and tone.
Proven experience in writing, editing, or translating content in Dhivehi.
Strong editorial judgement with the know-how to tell a story and carry a narrative through content.
Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and appropriately for different audiences.
Ability to manage multiple content needs across teams and meet tight deadlines.
Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and multidisciplinary environment.
Portfolio highlighting relevant writing samples.
Strong research and analytical skills to ensure accuracy of content.
