Terms of Employment:

The Duration of the assignment is 6 months from the commencement of work. Contract may be extended another 6 months based on the requirement.

Remuneration:

Based on qualifications and experience.

Qualification and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on software development experience.

• BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but optional. Equivalent professional experience is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end applications that meet project specifications and adhere to industry best practices.

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using modern programming languages and frameworks such as Laravel, Vue.js, React, Node.js, or similar technologies.

• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Ensure that all development is aligned with the architectural guidelines, performance standards, and security protocols set by Tradenet.

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for application integration and data exchange across multiple platforms.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs.

• Provide feedback and insights into technical feasibility during the planning stages of new initiatives.

• Collaborate in agile teams, participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing

• Write clear and concise documentation for codebases, APIs, and system functionalities.

• Share knowledge with the team by conducting code reviews, technical training, and mentorship for junior developers.

Desired Skills:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in back-end development using Laravel PHP, Node.js, or other similar languages.

• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or React.

• Strong understanding of database management, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.

• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of security protocols and practices in application development.

• Mastery of code versioning tools, especially Git.

Professional Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in agile development methodologies.

• Prior experience in developing applications for government entities or reputable companies is a plus

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
