We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our team at Tradenet. As part of our dynamic and innovative team, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-centric interfaces for a range of applications that streamline government services and enhance public sector interactions. Your designs will play a crucial role in delivering seamless digital experiences to citizens and businesses, ensuring that our applications are functional, visually appealing, and easy to use.

Terms of Employment:

The Duration of the assignment is 6 months from the commencement of work. Contract may be extended another 6 months based on the requirement.

Remuneration:

Based on qualifications and experience.

Qualification and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in UX/UI design, preferably working on large-scale applications or public-facing digital products.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but optional. Equivalent professional experience is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of user-centered experiences that meet both business and user needs.

• Perform usability testing to refine and validate designs based on user feedback.

• Design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the usability and user experience of Tradenet’s platforms.

• Design high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes for desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms.

• Ensure accessibility compliance, ensuring designs accommodate a wide range of users, including those with special needs.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure the implementation of designs aligns with the overall vision and project goals.

• Present design ideas and rationale to key stakeholders, explaining decisions with clear references to user insights and best practices.

• Iterate on designs based on feedback from the team, clients, and end-users, ensuring continuous improvement throughout the development cycle.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing

• Develop and maintain design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final design specifications.

• Provide developers with all necessary design assets (icons, fonts, colors, etc.) and ensure smooth handoffs between design and development teams.

Desired Skills:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Framer, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), or similar software.

• Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with developers will be a plus.

• Experience with creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using tools like Figma, Framer, or similar.

Professional Skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and decisions to various stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual consistency.
