Newsroom
The Food Establishment Registration service on oneGov is now offered by the Maldives Food and Drug Authority (MFDA).
This service was previously managed by the Health Protection Agency (HPA). However, as of 2nd September 2024, the MFDA is the entity responsible for offering this service on oneGov.
This change has been put into effect in accordance with the Food Safety Act (Law No. 6/2024), which was enacted on 23rd August 2024.
Due to this change, the service on the oneGov platform experienced a temporary service interruption from 26th August to 29th August. Do note that no late fees were applied to any submissions during this period.
