Tradenet Signs Agreement with AA. Rasdhoo Council

Tradenet has signed an agreement with the AA. Rasdhoo Council to integrate their services into an innovative new solution we’ve been developing.

This new solution is designed with a strong focus on local governance, aiming to significantly enhance service application and delivery for our partner councils and their respective  communities.

Moreover, the solution is fully compatible with oneGov, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

The Signing Ceremony

The agreement was signed at Tradenet’s head office on December 19, 2024 in a formal ceremony. The signing ceremony formally launched the onboarding of the AA. Rasdhoo Council onto the upcoming solution.

The Rasdhoo Island Council was represented by the Island Council President, Mohamed Naahid who was the signatory, and the Secretary General, Hassan Anwar, who served as witness.

Tradenet was represented by the General Manager of Business Development, Ahmed Varish Mohamed. The meeting was also attended by our Marketing Lead, Ushau Mohamed.

The New Solution

The proposed solution is expected to deliver significant benefits and positive impacts for local councils.

These include enhanced operational efficiency through streamlined processes and reduced manual workloads, improved citizen satisfaction by providing better service accessibility and communication, and cost savings through reduced maintenance expenses and the elimination of redundant systems.

Additionally, the solution enables data-driven decision-making with comprehensive reporting and real-time data access, as well as increased transparency and accountability through improved tracking and reporting of services.

The initial rollout of the solution will include 10 essential services, with a service study commencing shortly to tailor the platform to Rasdhoo’s specific needs. The platform’s goal is to streamline council operations and improve service delivery, benefitting both the council and the residents it serves.

By implementing this digital solution, our partner local councils will be better equipped to meet public service delivery goals, enhance citizen engagement, and ensure long-term sustainability.

Tradenet is committed to leveraging this partnership to enhance the platform, ensuring it meets the needs of councils across the Maldives. As the pilot progresses, feedback from Rasdhoo Island Council will be instrumental in shaping the platform’s development.

This partnership symbolizes a step toward modernizing local governance and fostering collaboration between councils and the Tradenet team.

The Fuvahmulah Council has been the first council to provide their services through oneGov. The Rasdhoo Council will be the first council to work with us to bring their services to the public through our upcoming council-specific solution.

Stay tuned for further updates as we continue this exciting journey!
